I'd like you to meet a couple of my new friends. They're pretty handy fellows.
I think they are pretty good looking too. Remember the recipe holder I made here? I got the original idea from David. Thanks David!
One day, it occurred to me that I could make recipe holders that were seasonal. That's how these orange cuties came to life.
These blocks were going to be thrown out, and I rescued them! I painted them orange, green and black and glued them together with E6000. I wanted to use my Gorilla Glue, but it dried out. Frowny face. I have to say the E6000 worked great in a pinch.
I painted the faces, which was a big deal for me. I just knew that the bottom dude was going to be looking up at the little dude. Aren't they funny?

Speaking of Gorilla Glue
I did not know that Gorilla Glue expanded and we used it to fix my husbands shoes, lets just say that my husband is a good sport for wearing shoes with these foam looking puffs...lol
